Family Health

The Family Health Clinic provides acute, routine, and wellness care for the medical needs of TRICARE Prime beneficiaries, from birth to geriatrics. All enrolled beneficiaries are assigned a primary care,manager. PCM's may be a physician, a physician assistant or a nurse practitioner. We offer the following services: evaluation and treatment of most acute and chronic medical conditions; family planning (includes vasectomies and contraception), diagnostic services, minor surgical procedures such as ingrown toenail removal and skin biopsies, and a pseudofolliculitis barbae (shaving) clinic. PCMs refer enrolled patients to specialty care not be available in the 5 MDG. We provide walk-in services for pregnancy testing, suspected urinary tract infections, sore throats, and suture/staple removal. You do not need an appointment for a pregnancy test. You may go directly to the Family Health Clinic Front Desk and a nurse and/or technician will screen you, order required tests and/or take care of your concerns.
